Steve Remsberg

Steve Remsberg has been collecting rum for over 30 years and has amassed over 1,000 different bottles of rum dating back as far as the 1880's. Many of those bottles were acquired while conducting field research on the origin and great variety of his favorite drink, the Planter's Punch. As this drink inspired this year's mixology contest, it seemed appropriate to put him on the judging panel.  He has participated on rum judging panels at various liquor industry events over the years and has been quoted as an authority on rum by the New York Times, the BBC, and Imbibe Magazine, among others.  He is a recently retired attorney living in New Orleans.
