Cheryl Charming

Cheryl Charming aka Miss Charming™ has been heavily steeped in the cocktail culture for 30 years via tending bar for 28 years, 14 published books, a popular info-rich website, blog, 5000 question iPhone drink trivia app, fun hand-crafted cocktail jewelry, a collection of drink seen in film, cocktail related facebook groups, cocktail graphic design services, beverage consultation, and as a mixology instructor.

In high school, she worked as a pizza waitress then quickly progressed to cocktail waitress, barback, bartender, and head bartender. With a penchant for travel, Cheryl tended bar many places around America, a cruise ship in the Caribbean, and Walt Disney World. While working at WDW she became the bar trick/bar magic instructor for Disney's F&B training program, Quest for the Best.

As of 2010, Cheryl has authored 14 books. The most popular include, "Miss Charming's Guide for Hip Bartenders and Wayout Wannabes", "The Everything Bartender's Book (2nd & 3rd editions)", "Bartending Basics: More than 400 Classic and Contemporary Cocktails for Any Occasion”, and a “Just” series of Martinis, Margaritas, Sangrias, and Tropical Drinks.

Having a passion for technology, it's no surprise that Cheryl was one of the first to have a bar & cocktail related website in the late 1990s (www.misscharming.com). She still maintains the site today. That progressed to a fun monthly newsletter, blog, and a drink trivia iPhone app containing over 5000 questions called, "Miss Trivia".

Cheryl is involved with hosting and participating in events for Tales of the Cocktail, the Annual Cocktail Film Fest, and teaching "Edutaining" cocktail classes for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line passengers. She is also a member of The Bartenders Guild and The Museum of the American Cocktail.

She also specializes in branding promotional bar tools and items for brands.
