WHAT:

World Cocktail Week (WCW) is a project of The Museum of the American Cocktail� and was established to celebrate the rich history of the cocktail and recognize the craft and skill of the bartenders who have been mixing them for over 200 years. Celebrating WCW (May 8 - 13th) is a great way to bring attention to the best bars in the country and support The Museum of the American Cocktail� in New Orleans (opening this July!) while paying tribute to the rich culinary and historical tradition of the cocktail.

New Orleans, LA (March 10, 2008) ---Tales of the Cocktail, the annual culinary and cocktail festival that takes over New Orleans every year from July 16-20 enters its sixth year. Tales of the Cocktail hosted kick off events in New Orleans on February 20th at the Hotel Monteleone’s Tennessee Williams suite and in New York on March 3rd at Flatiron Lounge. NEW ORLEANS – (March 8, 2008) – AM 690, New Orleans Conservative talk radio station announces a new Saturday line up for the food and drink lover. Restaurant Insider and The Straight Pour are two new half-hour radio shows produced and hosted by Paul and Ann Tuennerman. Restaurant Insider will bring the back of the house to the front and is aimed at the 54,000 people employed in the restaurant industry in New Orleans that represent 9.9 percent of the private workforce in the area.
